A free 20‑minute online introductory session is available for new clients. This meeting allows us to get to know each other, explore your reasons for seeking support, and decide whether working together feels like a good fit.
Individual Therapy Sessions
50 minutes
Online session: €105
In‑person session: €135
These sessions focus on your therapeutic goals, developing insight, and strengthening coping strategies to support your wellbeing.
EMDR & Trauma‑Focused Sessions
60 minutes
Online EMDR session: €125
In‑person EMDR session: €145
These sessions are designed for trauma processing, stabilisation, and deeper therapeutic work.
Intake Session
75 minutes
Online intake: €130
In‑person intake: €145
The intake session includes a detailed assessment of your history, current concerns, and treatment goals.
Extended Sessions
90 minutes
Online extended session: €165
In‑person extended session: €185
Extended sessions are available for EMDR, Schema Therapy, and other forms of therapy that benefit from additional time.
Reports & Letters
Short letter (GP/employer): €45
Treatment summary: €90
Full psychological report: €150
Cancellation Policy (24 hours)
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, as well as non‑attendance, are charged at the full session fee.
Insurance & Reimbursement
Skye Counselling operates as a private and independent practice, which means sessions are not covered by the Dutch basic health insurance (basisverzekering). Some Dutch insurers with a supplementary insurance (aanvullende zorgverzekering) may offer partial reimbursement for sessions, depending on your policy. Many international insurance providers also reimburse psychological treatment.

A GP referral is only required if your insurance policy specifically asks for one.
Clients are responsible for paying the session fee and submitting any reimbursement claims to their insurer.
Payment Terms
Invoices are sent after each session and are due within 3 days. Payment in advance may be requested for extended sessions or in cases of repeated late payments. It is the client’s responsibility to pay the session fee and apply for any possible reimbursement from their insurance provider.
